If you already own The Sims 4 for PC or just purchased the packaged PC-only version of The Sims 4, you can access the Mac version through Origin. The Remote Play app basically allows you to control the Playstation remotely from a computer, streaming a PS4 game from the Playstation 4 itself to the Mac or PC over a wi-fi or ethernet connection, allowing you to play whatever game is in the PS4, except on the computer.

The first thing you're going to want to do create your Sim. This can be pretty much whatever you want it to be. You can choose the gender, bone structure, skin tone, voice, clothing, and even their aspirations. Your Sim will set the tone and direction of your gameplay.

Compatibility with Remote Play is limited only by any extra peripherals like the PlayStation camera or Move Controller, both of which cannot be passed on through Remote Play. If any games use these two peripherals, they will not work properly.
Also, make sure that the path between your laptop and the console is not interrupted by devices that can cause interference. These include microwave ovens and other wireless devices. If you encounter significant stutters, disconnect all wireless keyboards/mice and other such accessories from the laptop and any other devices in your home and try playing again. If you find this improves your performance, slowly re-connect each device one by one to isolate what exactly may be causing the interference. Remember, Wi-Fi technology relies on radio signals in the 2.4 GHz and sometimes also the 5 GHz band. If anything else is using the narrow band your router allocated for the PlayStation, it will cause issues.
You can fiddle with frame rate and resolution settings by picking Open Preferences in the Remote Play app on your remote device before you begin playing. Next, open the game you want to stream and take a look at the Sources menu towards the bottom of OBS. Find the + button at the bottom of the Sources area and press it. It should pull up a list of items. The easiest way to capture gameplay is to use the Display Capture option. This allows you to capture an entire desktop screen.
